On August 12, 2021, Oknha CHAO YUNTER, Chairman of ASEAN East Asia Friendship and Peace Foundation, and Director General of Cambodia's Bureau of International Cooperation and Development, had handed over urgently needed materials which worth 350,000 US dollars for the action of prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic to Minister of Health of Cambodia, Mam Bunheng.

Ministry of Health secretary of state Youk Sambath, and Head of Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital, Denis Laurant, attended the handover activities.

With a view to contain the COVID-19 pandemic at an early date, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, Yim Chhaily look for AEAFAPF for material assistance through Oknha CHAO YUNTER, and received a positive response. In short period of time, AEAFAPF organized a large number of caring enterprises and donated urgently needed materials for prevention of COVID-19 pandemic and control in large quantities, including 500,000 disposable masks, 3 units of nucleic acid detection analyzers, 600 nucleic acid detection kits, 600 nucleic acid samplers and 500 bottles of sea buckthorn seed oil and etc.
